Barbados gourmet safari

What could be more fun than a Gourmet Safari? Just the name of it wakes up the tastebuds!

Part of the Barbados Food and Rum Festival,Gourmet Safari is an exciting one-night-only dinner series that pairs a local chef with an international chef.

The two collaborate to create a themed bespoke evening at a carefully selected fine dining restaurant across the island.

Past themes have included:

• “Creativity Meets Cuisine” at Tapestry Restaurant, which featured an art-inspired four-course menu and a live painting performance.
• “Storied Rum Dinner” in the enviable Rum Vault at Colony Club where, surrounded by 150 rums from all over the world, patrons were treated to an exclusive four-course dinner with specialty rum cocktail pairings while Mount Gay Rum's Master Blender explained the history of rum.
• “Taste of Italy” at Daphne’s Restaurant, which took diners on a regionalised Italian culinary journey.
