Cricket Legends of Barbados Museum is fascinating and filled with some of the greatest cricket memorabilia, artefacts and photographs.
Cricket is the national sport of Barbados and the West Indies, names like Sir Garfield Sobers the three W’s, Wes Hall, Keith Boyce, Desmond Haynes and Gordon Greening come to mind immediately as Barbadians who have contributed greatly to West Indies cricket. The museum is located just opposite the Kensington Oval, a tour of the Oval is an amazing experience for the lovers of the game. As you enter Kensington Oval, you’re greeted by a statue of Sir Garfield Sobers, one of the finest cricketers of all time. Sir Gary, as he is called locally, is recognised as one of the National Heroes of Barbados.
