Bonavista sits on a quiet stretch of white, sand beach on the stunning West Coast of Barbados. Upon arrival, guests enter a paved courtyard complemented by lush Caribbean greenery. An arched doorway provides a dramatic “window to the sea” offering tempting views of the shimmering Caribbean waters.
As you walk through the hallway, glimpses of a nautical Caribbean lifestyle are revealed. The hallway is decorated with stone turtle footstools and your eyes are drawn to the magnificent ocean and pool views. An impressive iron anchor is nestled among a colourful fusion of tropical foliage adding to the cool charm of the villa.
This luxury villa features a Roman-style fountain in a small alcove and a slightly dimmed nook offers a cosy retreat. The drawing room is elegantly outfitted with mahogany furnishings, antique Oriental rugs and polished antique mirrors. The living areas flow onto a covered terrace that is fully equipped with a full dining area, recessed service counter and a wet bar.

Amazing! The house, the pool, the beach, the service…..everything!
Bonavista was a magical place for us. A lot of that had to do with the location and the beach but also the staff. Emma, Janet, Claudia, Fabian and Mr. Scant made us feel welcome and helped us in every way!
What a completely magical time we have had - from the first moment I arrived I felt I was 'at home' in this beautiful place. The staff are very special, each and every one. Mr. Scantlebury tends to the garden with such love. Janet cooks the most delicious food and Claudia & Fabian make the house lovely and launder my endless clothes to perfection - and all alone with such good humour and willingness. Thank you all so much for the most special time - I arrived exhausted and I leave renewed! How am I going to live without the ocean and view?
The house is beautiful, gorgeous layout, perfectly appointed - we are so grateful to have had the chance to stay here. We wouldn't change a thing! We were so well looked after by Janet, please let it go on the record that; WE LOVE HER! She truly was, and is, TREMENDOUS! She is talented, kind, loving, efficient, fun, just all around WONDERFUL! She and the team really made it possible for us to relax in the most beautifulway. Wish we could share this incredible home and team with everyone we know - we loved it
